It may well have been wet today but it didn't deter the children. They have spent the whole day cheerfully carrying on the various activities and ignored the drizzle. My group have been on the high activities throughout. This has largely involved climbing wet telegraph poles and then jumping off them.......thankfully with safety harnesses on! All the groups have loved every minute and excelled themselves. So many children conquering their fears and proving to themselves how important it is to try and to push yourself beyond your comfort zone. I'm sure they will remember their accomplishments for a long time and will use it to motivate themselves when they doubt their abilities and potential. We finished the evening with a night walk through the woods before showers, drinking chocolate and bed! Tomorrow is another day packed with activities and the talent show in the evening.
